An introduction to Christianity course over three sessions, Hope Explored presents the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, and provides an opportunity to discover how he fulfils three great longings we all experience: the longing for hope, peace, and purpose.
If you have ever wanted to take a look at the Christian faith but haven’t been sure where to start, this course is for you.
Over three sessions, we’re going to be thinking about some of the big questions of life: How can we find hope in a world of frequent disappointment? Is there any hope of us living at peace with ourselves and with one another? Where can we find a sense of purpose that will infuse our lives with genuine meaning?
You won’t be asked to read aloud, pray, sing or do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.
We aren’t going to take your phone number and pester you. If you decide not to come back, we are still delighted you made the time to come.
You can ask any question you want, or alternatively feel free just to sit and listen.
The course is open to all and is completely free. We will start with refreshments and then watch a few short videos, read some of the bible and have plenty of time for questions and discussion. You can take away the course booklet and if you want a free bible, we would be happy to supply one for you.
We look forward to seeing you and if you have any further questions, please contact us.
